Dues Policy

Hand to Hand is a non-profit, dues-based organization. Dues are a “membership fee” and are not based on a per-class payment. Payment of the membership fee gives students access to an unrestricted number of regular classes for which they are qualified (some classes may have specific belt level requirements).


• Monthly dues are on a sliding scale, $65-150 per month. Please decide on and pay a set fee as a fair reflection of your earnings. Dues are paid at the beginning of each month.
• A late charge of $5 applies for dues paid after the 10th of the month.
• Please place dues payments in the mailbox in the back hall. Hand to Hand accepts cash or checks, or you can pay online on our website.


As a dues-based organization (similar to any gym or membership organization), Hand to Hand requests that students maintain their dues payments when they take a leave or vacation. ALWAYS inform the Head Instructor if you plan to be absent for an extended period of time. Students who need to take a leave of more than two months should consult with the Head Instructor regarding dues payments during their absence.
